Emone's Aquatic Background
Emone has over fifteen (15) years of aquatic training. She started swimming as a toddler, and at the age of six (6) she joined a seasonal swim team at her community swimming pool. As a teenager she worked with the YWCA and DCPR (DC Department of Parks and Recreation)---in 2003 she became a Red Cross certified Lifeguard (LG). In 2004 she became a certified Water Safety Instructor (WSI) and taught lessons daily. In 2006 she began to study aquatic exericize and taught Water Aerobics to adults and seniors alongside other aquatic specialist with DCPR . By 2006 she became a certified Pool Operator (CPO) and a certified Lifeguard Instructor (LGI).
In 2010 she found a children's swim school, where she spent about seven years specializing in swim instruction to children six months to twelve years of age.
In addition to teaching aquatic skills, she taught literacy and phonetics to preschoolers . In 2012 she became a preschool teacher for five years, specializing in early education to children under 5. Later she cared for children from her daycare center during select weekends and evening. Babysitting was a perfect fit, she enjoys helping families make ends meet.
In 2018, Emone lives in Washington, D.C. and is still an energetic and wellness minded educator. Over the years she continues to reach as many families in her community as possible---meeting the needs of each student, fostering an environment conducive to learning and taking a holistic approach to the development of each swimmer is the primary goal.

What is your make-up policy and why no refunds?
Once we sell a one of our appointments to you, we cannot sell it to another. When you register for one of our programs only you can assess whether you might have a potential conflict on the horizon. LEGITSWIM cannot assume that risk for you. We do not offer refunds, but under certain circumstances, we will offer credits. One private lesson each session can be made-up by arrangement with the instructor.
How many lessons should I register for ?
